Asiatic Indian Purse in Red with Gold “embroidered” elephants. Handbags with style.

This richly exotic handbag is a vintage op-shop find.

Give your day a pop of colour and elegance with this gold embroidered handbag with elephants and diamond patterning. The embroidery pattern is a traditional South East Asian design.

There is an outside and inside zipped pocket.

There is very little wear. There are a couple of pulled threads and a little soft puckering of cloth on one side. No labels, so age is unknown. Two similar bags were found on the internet. These show being handmade in Thailand and Cambodia respectively. This is obviously made in the same vein although I am no expert I would make an educated guess that this comes from that same region.

The bag is in good condition and has been cleaned.
